Oakleigh Veterans Memorial

A place of contemplation and respect for the sacrifice of so many.

The Oakleigh Veterans Park is a Memorial dedicated to the honor of all American military and civilian support personnel who served the United States in the wars in the Middle East and associated regions.

Special recognition for area Gold Star moms and dads and their lost ones is a prominent part of this Memorial.

Dawn to Dusk Park

The Park will sit adjacent to a "Dawn to Dusk" playground and outdoor exercise venue where youngsters and older Americans can gather to become acquainted, work out, or simply enjoy time around the fire pit. This park is an integral part of the Memorial.

Great American Memorials

There is an expression, "Freedom is not free." Those who served on foreign soil deserve to be honored and remembered. At a time in our history when the very foundations of our democracy are being challenged, we decided to construct a place where Veterans can be quietly and respectfully given our thanks. Their personal sacrifice is a thing that will resonate forever.

Oakleigh Veterans Memorial

In a time when civility, kindness and connection are all too scarce, the Veteran's Park is a physical space to bring us together and pay tribute to our loved ones.
